Terms of Sale

The small print, written as plainly as I can manage. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Who you're buying from

Everything on jboy.co.uk is sold by JBOY, an independent artist based in London. Contact: j@jboy.co.uk.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. Postage is shown at checkout, except canvases and larger items, which are invoiced separately once they're ready to ship. Payment is taken when you order.

Your order

Your order is accepted when you get the confirmation email. If something sells out at the same moment, or there's an obvious pricing mistake, I'll let you know and refund you in full.

The art itself

  • Originals and hand-finished pieces are made by hand, so small marks, drips and variations are part of the work, not faults.

  • Where a listing says the photo is an example, yours will be similar but not identical.

  • Edition sizes are stated on each listing and won't be increased once an edition is released.

  • Colours can look slightly different on different screens.

Final sales

Commissions, custom and personalised items (including hand-painted T-shirts and customised prints), digital downloads once downloaded, and gift cards once the code has been sent are final sales and can't be returned or refunded, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

Copyright

Buying a piece gives you the physical work, not the copyright. The images stay mine, so please don't reproduce them commercially. Digital downloads are unsigned open editions for your own personal use: print them for your own wall, but don't sell, share or print them for anyone else.

Gift cards

Gift cards can be spent on anything in the shop, don't expire and can't be exchanged for cash.

Delivery and returns

Delivery, tracking, customs and returns are covered on the Shipping & Returns page.

Liability

I'm responsible for any loss you suffer that's a foreseeable result of me breaking these terms. I'm not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
